Well, I have a little bit of a cold. It's not much. I just feel worn out, I'm a little stuffed up, etc. I'm not sure what the progress of the cold is, so it is quite possible it could either get worse or better at this point.
Today I had my first test in my German class, so far we've had 2.5 weeks of class, which is almost equal to a full semester of German (3 weeks of this class=1 semester). For the test we were read a text in German, and then we had to re-write, on the stop, the same text. It was read 2 times, with a 2 minute break between reading. I don't think I could do that well in English, much less German! However, I think I did relatively well. The topic was the moon landing, so it wasn't a new topic. The only problem was that it was in German:-). Silly German class where we have to speak German.
Altough the assign really stinks, it does have a purpose. There is a German language test required for non-exchange foreign students called the "DSH." One section of the DSH is the same thing as the test I had today.
In other news, UConn is offering some great math courses this fall. Finally there is number theory for undergraduates. If you are a UConn math major, I command you to register for that class, so that there will be enough people to have it fly!
