Well, I am actually really really going to Germany. Every day it becomes a little more offcial. When checking my transcript today, it appears they are already transfering in my credits from Germany, and I haven't even got an airplane ticket!
I am getting 15 credits in "OFFC 641: Study In Baden-Wurtt." A 300-level course is for any grad student, a 400-level course is for a Ph.D. student, so a 600-level course must be for a super-duper extra terminal Ph.D. student such as myself:-).
Well, all I have to do is take 3 classes towards my degree in Germany and I'll be able to graduate - I hope. I'd like to take more than just 3 toward my degree (if all my classes are toward my degree, I would be very happy). Once I get back from running, I will look at past class schedules at Uni-Freiburg. Hopefully I can find enough stuff to shoot me towards graduation.
UConn is mean for not letting in any W course. I will talk to Dr. Weidauer and see if there are any special arrangements that I can make.
